WORLD MYTHOLOGY AND WRITING WORKSHOP (9-12 AGE)
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All children between the ages of 9-12 who want to learn the hidden secrets, fantastic adventures, and endless vocabulary of World Mythology and who also aim to have the chance to experience the fun of writing a new mythology can participate.
WHAT ARE THE COURSE OUTCOMES?
At the end of the Level 1 World Mythology training; We will not only learn about the gods and goddesses in Ancient Greek and Roman mythology, but also how to activate our imagination and create different worlds. After this training, our perspective will change and the way we read the events around us will change.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM?
In these workshops, young writers will discover World Mythology. They will listen to the exciting and different stories of Mythological Heroes accompanied by epic music and dramatic animation, draw the heroes, bring the fictions to life and rewrite mythology. Learning different exciting mythological stories, drawing mythological heroes, rewriting those stories in their own imaginary worlds in completely different ways and experiencing the four dimensions of learning by reading, writing, living and drawing in one workshop are the aims of this entertaining and educational workshop.

Week 1: What is mythology? Where does mythology come from? What do world mythologies have in common? The birth of Zeus. The love of Zeus and Hera.
Week 2: Mount Olympus and Mythological Laws. Gods and Goddesses in Ancient Greek Mythology. Poseidon and Hades.
Week 3: Hera, the greatest of the Greek goddesses. Demeter, the Earth Mother. Hestia, the goddess of the hearth and home.
Week 4: Athena: Goddess of wisdom.
Week 5: Ares, god of war and Dionysus, god of fun.
Week 6: Artemis, Goddess of the Hunters. Twin sister of Apollo Artemis.
Week 7: Who is Hermes? The life of Apollo.
Week 8: What happened between Aphrodite and Hephaestus.
