PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
This programme;
It aims for participants to transform their own ideas and designs into clothing.
-Learning basic cutting and sewing techniques suitable for patterns with various sewing machines and materials.
-To ensure that learning is put into practice through exercises.
-It aims for the participants to complete their basic and practical training in textile and fashion design with sustainable intellectual gains.

COURSE CONTENT
Week 1:
Recognizing the sewing machine and sewing materials

Recognizing and applying sewing types
Week 3:
Recognizing and applying sewing types (Make-up bag sewing will be done.)
Week 4:
Recognize and apply fabric edge cleaning techniques and zipper sewing techniques.
Week 5:
Recognize and apply fabric edge cleaning techniques and zipper sewing techniques.
Week 6:
Recognize and apply fabric edge cleaning techniques and zipper sewing techniques.
Week 7:
Ability to prepare the fabric for cutting in accordance with work safety measures and to cut the fabric in accordance with the desired criteria.

She was born in Istanbul in 1975. She graduated from Marmara University, Department of Ready-Made Clothing Teaching in 1997. Following her graduation, she worked as a Clothing Production Planning Specialist in the private sector for 2 years. Later, she started working as a permanent Clothing Production Technology Teacher within the Ministry of National Education. She taught pattern making techniques and sewing methods and techniques in vocational high schools and public education centers for 25 years. After her retirement, she continues to share her professional experiences and teach at the Atölye Ataşehir. Work ExperiencesTC. Ministry of National Education Clothing Production Technology Teacher July 1996 – March 1998 I provided hands-on training on patterns, sewing techniques, quality control, and production processes for the ready-made clothing industry. I organized technical training on Lectra and Gerber CAD systems. I provided field experience to students through workshop organizations. I provided advanced knowledge transfer on woven and knitted fabrics. I achieved a 25% time savings with lean production principles. I managed internships and collaboration processes with more than 50 companies. URKAY Tekstil A.Ş. Planning and Production Follow-up Specialist March 1998 – July 2023 I managed product development, pattern preparation, and sampling processes for women's clothing collections. I achieved a 95% on-time delivery rate by optimizing delivery times. I reduced the fabric waste rate from 12% to 7%. I successfully passed international quality audits with English technical files. I improved workflow and time management in internal production workshops. I increased the speed of product approval based on customer feedback during the sampling process.
