OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

We are witnessing major fashion brands digitizing to reach people of all ages and ethnicities, fostering a sense of connection with their brand identity, and beginning to meet the demands of the new generation – their future target audience. The key to adapting to this change lies in being able to transfer our designs to the digital world using 3D technology.

The 3D Curriculum aims to provide participants with the necessary theoretical foundation and practical skills in the field of digital fashion design. Throughout the program, the basic functions of 3D software are taught, and mastery of 3D design processes and digital artistic drawing techniques is achieved. Participants develop their 3D thinking ability and become capable of creating detailed and professional clothing designs on a 3D platform.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

This program is suitable for participants who have graduated from university Fashion Design or Textile departments (or Vocational High School Textile departments) and/or certified students who have completed Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or Styling drawing training at our institution.

Results and Achievements

  • By completing this course, you will have learned about the role of 3D in the industry and the program interface from leading 3D design software providers; you will be able to design, create, and sew garment patterns digitally, prepare digital surfaces, and experience many applications such as rendering and lighting design; and you will be able to use the program at a basic level.

She was born in Istanbul in 1975. She graduated from Marmara University, Department of Ready-Made Clothing Teaching in 1997. Following her graduation, she worked as a Clothing Production Planning Specialist in the private sector for 2 years. Later, she started working as a permanent Clothing Production Technology Teacher within the Ministry of National Education. She taught pattern making techniques and sewing methods and techniques in vocational high schools and public education centers for 25 years. After her retirement, she continues to share her professional experiences and teach at the Atölye Ataşehir. Work ExperiencesTC. Ministry of National Education Clothing Production Technology Teacher July 1996 – March 1998 I provided hands-on training on patterns, sewing techniques, quality control, and production processes for the ready-made clothing industry. I organized technical training on Lectra and Gerber CAD systems. I provided field experience to students through workshop organizations. I provided advanced knowledge transfer on woven and knitted fabrics. I achieved a 25% time savings with lean production principles. I managed internships and collaboration processes with more than 50 companies. URKAY Tekstil A.Ş. Planning and Production Follow-up Specialist March 1998 – July 2023 I managed product development, pattern preparation, and sampling processes for women's clothing collections. I achieved a 95% on-time delivery rate by optimizing delivery times. I reduced the fabric waste rate from 12% to 7%. I successfully passed international quality audits with English technical files. I improved workflow and time management in internal production workshops. I increased the speed of product approval based on customer feedback during the sampling process. 1-Participants who fulfill the attendance requirement will be entitled to receive a certificate. At the end of the training, participants will be entitled to receive a training certificate approved by the Rectorate and visible on E-Government, prepared in cooperation with the relevant Universities.
2- At the end of the training, participants are entitled to receive an internationally valid English education certificate and this certificate can be checked on E-Government and with the QR code of the relevant university. There is a 100% attendance requirement in the Certificate Programs. Certificates are given digitally with a digital QR code that can be tracked and checked, we do not provide a printed certificate with a wet signature, please do not request it.
