WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

It is a preparatory program for those who want to study stylist and fashion design in the fields of Fine Arts. It is a portfolio preparation program for those who want to become stylists and study fashion domestically and abroad. It is a program for those who want to take part in professional working life (e.g. creating their own brands, opening a boutique) to improve themselves with private lessons before preparing a collection.

DEFINITION OF A STYLIST

It is the person who designs clothing models in the ready-made and custom-made clothing units of the clothing sector with a contemporary fashion understanding, determines the textile product suitable for these designs or makes a model design and appropriate accessory selection according to the textile product, and creates all these works with pictures, lines and graphics. Stylists who have a status that will give direction to the fashion world have many areas of work. Ready-made clothing sector, knitwear sector, clothing workshops, textile industry organizations, private institutions, leather workshops, apparel, boutique companies, companies that prepare special designs.

COURSE CONTENT

1st MONTH

Materials Required: 35x50 base, 35x50 paper, 2B pencil, dough eraser, pencil sharpener

  • Participants learn how to transfer the human body and its anatomical structure to paper with correct proportions using freehand drawing techniques.

2nd MONTH

Course Information:

  • Ability to create striking, original and distinguished drawings
  • Artistic Design Studies
  • Participants gain experience in drawing types of clothing on the human body and how to transfer what they imagine onto paper (with the guidance of the instructor). Then, they stylize it with color studies.

3rd MONTH

Programme Information:

  • Collection work to choose the right fabric, color and accessory for your outfit
  • Preparing a creation
  • The participant, who starts to create his/her own style in line with the experience gained in the first two levels, completes his/her stylist training by reaching the correct level of expression in a fashion figure, together with various fabric types, fabric textures and color harmony in this 3-month journey towards the creation of a fashion collection.


Ceren Yilmaz

She was born in Istanbul in 1997. She graduated from Beykoz Anatolian Girls' Vocational High School, Department of Women's Clothing and Technologies and completed her undergraduate studies in Beykent University, Department of Textile and Fashion Design. She continued her textile education with a Master's Degree in Textile and Fashion Design at Beykent University. She worked as a designer in Türkiye's leading textile brands and also taught textile, pattern and fashion design to many students.

1-Participants who fulfill the attendance requirement will be entitled to receive a certificate. At the end of the training, participants will be entitled to receive a training certificate approved by the Rectorate and visible on E-Government, prepared in cooperation with the relevant Universities.
2- At the end of the training, participants are entitled to receive an internationally valid English education certificate and this certificate can be checked on E-Government and with the QR code of the relevant university. There is a 100% attendance requirement in the Certificate Programs. Certificates are given digitally with a digital QR code that can be tracked and checked, we do not provide a printed certificate with a wet signature, please do not request it.
